Be careful what you wish for…

Bottom of post. ’nuff said.

Or, read on for the long version.

Meh. I’m a disappointment, no?

In my defense, I really had nothing relevant to say.

It would’ve been easier if it broke out into punches.

Legend…waitforit…daryyyy!

This. For Sale. Amazon. ’nuff said.

Gomen!

Busy as hell with essays and scripts now. And also Diablo (not my fault).

Also, the host seems to be rather meh lately. Sry for so much downtime.

k ciao

I have this habit of liking anime people hate

To each his or her own, I guess. I personally loved Gundam 00 - got it and marathoned it through a few days after I caught wind of season 2 coming out. Now I’ve heard rather harsh reviews here and there about this series, but besides the slow start and the rather typical cast - Gundam 00 has still blown me away.

I want Smooth E too!

Not really.

But the four-part ad series was really gripping, and kept me watching. I’m not a target audience for this particular product, but hell - I’m sure girls, metro guys and ladyboys would be more than persuaded to at least try out this product. =P

(props to my sis for pointing me to them)

Presentation Prepared!

Fucking finally. Spent the night (up to now) preparing my presentation for Sony’s class later. =/

Of course, there are coffee breaks, Facebook breaks, and also a Schlock Mercenary marathon running parallel, but meh. Btw, if you like sci-fi and comics, check it out. =) (and thus my main focus for the night betrays itself)

Well, there’s still the 5.30am to 7am rush to prepare my slides. And it would not have been remotely possible to even stay awake and focused without (ignoring the constant stream of caffiene)… wait for it… Barney’s Psych-Up Mix!

Here’s the full list (taken straight from that episode where they celebrate New Year):

1) I Wanna Rock — Twisted Sister
2) You Give Love A Bad Name — BJ (Bon Jovi)
3) Lick It Up — KISS
4) Paradise City — GNR (Guns & Roses)
5) Dancing With Myself — Billy Idol
6) Rock You Like A Hurricane — Scorpy (Scorpions)
7) Panama – Van Halen
8) Talk Dirty To Me — Poison
9) Thunderstruck — AC/DC
10) Dr. Feelgood — Crue (Motley Crue)
11) Round and Round – Ratt

I now have a newfound love for classical rock. Check out the ones in bold - they’re my personal favourites. Needless to say, You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi is a must-have (of course, if you watched that episode, you’ll already have it anyway).

Now, I shall surrender myself to fatigue and go to sleep.

Oh crap, I forgot to mention that I also spent a huge portion of the night compiling the full psych-mix (yes, even more time than I spent prepping my slides).

I have awesome priority-management skills. =D

PS. I’ll compile my own psych-up mix in my own time, but this will suffice for now.

edit:

@anyone who comes in to say ‘OLD’: FUCK YOU TOO. GO FLY KITE.

=D (i love pre-emptive strikes)

Zombie Princess!

Shikabane Hime: Aka, or Corpse Princess if translated literally. I’ve been really interested in this anime ever since my epic Autumn anime search two nights ago - mainly because it’s by Gainax (they made TTGL as well, so yeah). I’m also following Casshern Sins (pretty good action, looks like Speed Racer kicking ass), Hyakko (mainly for Hirano Aya <3) and also keeping an eye on Chäos;HEAd (because of all the hype), but Shikabane Hime easily took the cake.

For me, at least. Lots of hate for this series on the internet, for some reason. =/

Inverse Writing Skill/Complexity Law

Inverse Writing Skill/Complexity Law

The Inverse Writing Skill/Complexity Law, also known as the Thesaurus-Essays Law (or TEL for short) states that the number of bombastic words used in any form of writing (especially academic essays) is inversely proportional to the writing skill and the language proficiency of the author.

Wow

There goes my week free. Time flies regardless of whether you’re having the time of your life.

My perpetual joblessness is not particularly helpful either. I’m more motivated to sit around and mope than to actually do my relatively simple reading logs.

Something is really wrong with this sem. I’m just glad I have aussie to look forward to.
