Yep. News that are of no relevance to anyone but me, I have no idea why I’m posting this. Actually, I do have an idea why I posted this. It was a mini-nightmare post-upgrade for me. The WYSIWYG editor didn’t work after the upgrade.
I was in a mini-panic - I searched the Wordpress support messageboards, considered reuploading WP2.1 files, and even querying my webhost as to the version of PHP that the host provided.
And guess what? In the end, I found an option that had been neglected by lots of Wordpress users - as there was a redundant function in another page of the Dashboard (options page).Â
It’s located in the ‘Users’ section - in ‘Your Profile’. There, check the option to activate the visual editor. And there you have it. It’s rather idiotic that they didn’t have it activated by default - hopefully the WP dev staff will fix this in the next version.
Oh, and before ending this post - let me announce that I’m now stuck in Brunei. And this time - I have a mission. And I’m not letting anyone get in my way.
